So it's been a couple of years...

But we have exciting news! In fact, quite a lot of exciting news but in this post, I'll focus on just one: Bonviva Wine! Which is a dream come true! 

Ever since my semester abroad at the University of Dijon, where I fell in love with wine (my only class on Fridays was Dégustation du Vin – what a great jump into the weekend!), I've dreamt of creating my own wine. After decades of testing, tasting, learning and meeting a like-minded partner along the way, we planted a vineyard on our Finca in Mallorca. Four years later, we're thrilled to introduce Bonviva wine!

Bonviva, named to reflect our philosophy of living well and making the most of life, is cultivated on our Finca and crafted at Chateau Vino de la Isla. Our artisanal wines are handpicked, ecologically grown, and capture the essence of Mallorcan life in every glass! 

The Bonviva Blanco 2023 is 100% sauvignon blanc, reminiscent of a Pouilly-Fumé. With an intense straw yellow color and magnificent nose, it’s a pleasure even before you take a sip. Flavors of ripe pear, cassis and mandarin combine to create a full and expressive bouquet that offers a perfect compliment to seafood, chicken and vegetarian dishes. 

The Bonviva Rosado 2023 is 100% syrah and an enchanting addition to any afternoon or evening. I love this wine! A vibrant rosé that captivates with aromas bursting with strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and a surprising grapefruit finish, this is a refreshing and extremely drinkable (trust me – it’s hard to stop!) summer dream of a wine. Fantastic all on it’s own or a perfect pairing for paella, pizza, curries, or grilled dishes.
