Do you find that life seems to have ever more going on, and it’s tough to keep up with things?
If yes, then you’re not alone: we feel you! For example, we are already in the middle of the 2025 grape harvest, and we haven’t even blogged about the 2024 vintage wines! Yikes!

The good news about the 2024 vintages: they turned out GREAT. Yes, perhaps I’m a bit biased. But we’ve heard good things from other people, too – including a couple of restaurant owners who didn’t list the 2023 vintages but DID pick up the 2024. So there’s that. 😊
Both wines hit much more closely to our design objective: perfect for sunny days and warm evenings, with fruity and lightly floral aromas while staying crisp and dry, with a pleasant minerality.
The bad news: it was a very modest harvest. The extremely hot, dry spring and summer in 2023 combined with harvesting slightly too late resulted in fewer grapes, some dried-out and eaten-by-birds berries and overall less wine. So: quality great, quantity disappointing. So if you haven’t gotten your orders in yet, please contact us soon as we’re likely to sell out long before Christmas!
We’re hoping to hit the sweet spot on both those parameters with the 2025 harvest! It was a wet spring bosting lots of rain – which creates challenges of mildew and green mosquito – but definitely helped with the quantity. We also had nets on the vines for the final 4 weeks (protecting them from birds), and we’re harvesting slightly earlier. In fact, just 3 days ago, the Sauvignon Blanc was harvested and the Syrah will follow in about a 7-10 days. Good stuff, and more to come!
